How to set up your iPhone to announce who’s calling you
Since 2016, iOS has made it possible for your phone to inform you of who’s calling you by announcing their name as your phone starts to ring. This is a brilliant addition to your iPhone and a very useful feature. If your caller is not in your contact list, your phone will tell you it’s an unknown caller.
This is a particularly useful feature when out and about using your headphones, as you won’t have to reach for your phone to see who’s calling you.
Setting up this feature is quick and very simple.
Go to settings, scroll down and select Phone, tap on announce calls and select the option you want. That’s it. Now. Now your phone will inform you who’s calling from your contact list. If the caller is not on your contact list, it will inform you that your caller is unknown.
