Liquid Damage Service

Our Liquid Damage Cleaning service will use ultrasound to clean your device’s logic board of liquid remains and corrosion. This cleaning service does not guarantee to fix your phone, even if your phone appears to be working after the cleaning process and new replacement parts are fitted, liquid damaged phones can still break down or malfunction at a later date, therefore, this service carries no warranty whatsoever, including our lifetime warranty, and requires a non-refundable payment up front, whether the cleaning is successful or not. Ultrasonic cleaning of a device will remove liquid remains and corrosion. The removal of this corrosion can result in your device no longer working at all. Any additional faulty components that require replacement, plus replacement labour, will be charged extra. Most device manufacturers do not entertain any form of repair on liquid damaged devices. Liquid damage cleaning should be utilised as a last resort to revive your device!

Bend and Dent Repair Service

Our Bend & Dent Repair service is designed to straighten your phone’s frame and remove dents to a standard that a new screen can be fitted only. Our bend & dent repair service is not designed to return your phone to a ‘like new’ condition and does not guarantee to do so. Our bend & dent repair service carries no warranty whatsoever that it will be successful in removing any bend or dents or that the repaired bend and/or dents will not re-appear.

Data Recovery Service

Our Data Recovery service is a two-stage process; diagnosis, then recovery.

The first stage, diagnosis, will analyse your phone to ascertain whether, and which, data is recoverable and its likely condition. The payment for this stage is payable upfront and is not refundable, even if we can’t retrieve any data.

The second stage, if you choose to go ahead with it, will attempt to recover the data you request from your phone. Unfortunately, we have no control over the condition or quality of the data on your phone. We can only extract it ‘as is’ and therefore, we can’t take any responsibility for the condition, or quality, of your recovered data. Payment for this second stage is payable in addition to the diagnostic first stage charge and is payable, in full, on the return of your data and device.

The data you require us to be recovered from your phone, up to 60GB, will be supplied to you on a USB stick. In the unlikely event, your data is over 60Gb in size, you will have to supply us with a suitable hard drive for us to provide you with your data.

Micro Soldering/Board Level Repair Service

Our Micro Soldering/Board Level Repair service is a two-stage process; diagnosis, then repair.

The first stage, diagnosis, will test and analyse your phone’s motherboard to ascertain what the problem is, and whether it can be fixed and at what additional fee. The payment for this stage is payable upfront and is not refundable, even if we can’t fix your device.

The second stage, if you choose to go ahead with it, will undertake to repair your device. Payment for this second stage is payable in addition to the diagnostic first stage charge and is payable, in full, on the return of your device.

Unfortunately, due to the nature of this service, we cannot offer any warranty with this service whatsoever. Our usual lifetime repair and one-year battery warranties are NOT applicable to this service

Your Personal Data

Any data or information that you may have stored on the device shall remain your sole responsibility and we accept no liability for loss or corruption of such data howsoever caused. It is your responsibility to backup or keep a record of any such data before the repair is undertaken.

LIFETIME Guarantee/Warranty

all our repairs are backed by a LIFETIME parts and labour warranty, from the original repair date, except replacement batteries and our Micro Soldering/Board Level Repair service.

all battery replacements and repairs are backed by a full one-year parts and labour warranty, from the original repair date.

we do not offer any warranty whatsoever with our Micro Soldering/Board Level Repair service. Please refer to the Micro Soldering/Board Level Repair service section above for more details.

if the replacement or repaired part malfunctions, or does not work as intended or designed, we will replace it free of charge.

our lifetime guarantee/warranty lasts for as long as you own your device; it is non-transferable; it is only valid for the specific device repaired and as detailed within the warranty certificate and to the original customer; it is also not transferable across devices; its ends once the device is either sold or given to another individual under any circumstances.

if our tamper-proof seal is broken or missing, this will invalidate the warranty and no warranty repairs can be undertaken.

Please note our LIFETIME warranty is limited to:

(a) only the device with the IMEI or serial number noted on the warranty certificate is covered under the warranty. (b) either, the malfunction of the replacement or repaired component, or our workmanship, only. If any additional component malfunctions or if any additional faults later manifest themselves after our repair, the new malfunction or fault will NOT be covered under this warranty. (c) the parts and/or services that were paid for by you to us. If only parts were purchased, this warranty is limited to the replacement of the parts. If parts and repair services were purchased from us, the warranty extends to cover the labour cost of part replacement and any other repairs specifically resulting from the initial repair, except in the situations outlined below. If subsequent work is carried out as part of the warranty this does not extend the warranty. For example, if a warranty repair was done 10 days after the original repair, the warranty would still end 30 days after the date of the original repair. (e) if we replace a component for a third time and it also malfunctions similarly to the first and second replacement, that would indicate an underlying problem with the device and not the new components. In this case, we will not replace the component for a forth time.

What the Lifetime Warranty Does NOT Protect Against

Our warranty does not protect against any of the following:

(a) any damage or breakages to the device, however caused, including a bent, twisted or dented frame or cracked, smashed or badly scratched screen or LCD; (b) water or other liquid damage, including, phones that when we open them for repair, it is discovered that any of the internal liquid damage indicators have been triggered or removed (they start white and change colour, usually red or pink, if ever in contact with liquid); (c) faults not related to the original repair; (d) damage or faults resulting from the attempted customer or other third party repairs; (e) software or motherboard related issues; (f) damage to the device that may not be apparent at the time of the repair, such as broken solder joints on the motherboard, that break down or manifest themselves later, or immediately after our repair due to being disturbed during our repair. (g) waterproof/resistant devices, as we cannot guarantee the device(s) will remain waterproof/resistant following the repair services; (h) any loss of data occurring as a result of the repair. Customers are advised to back up all data on the device(s) to be repaired prior to the repair. We do not accept any liability for data or software which is lost, corrupted, deleted or altered during repair. You accept full responsibility for all software and data on your device(s) and we are not required to advise or remind customers of appropriate backup and other procedures.

This warranty does not cover the outcome of the repair services if certain pre-repair conditions exist in relation to the relevant device the subject of the repair services, including:

(a) existence of known manufacturing and/or performance issues related to the device(s) which is separate from the repair services, as noted prior to the repair services; (b) water or other liquid damage; (d) pre-existing damage or faults resulting from the attempted customer or third party repairs at any time. (e) any damage caused to the home button on an iPhone 7, 7 Plus, or later released iPhone, during repair that renders the home button unresponsive. If after a repair is undertaken and the home button is no longer responsive, the only remedy we will be liable for is to set up the AssistiveTouch function on your phone which provides a virtual home button on your screen as a substitute to the original home button. This is unfortunately due to the common known design issue with the home button on the iPhone 7 series, and later released iPhones. Under no circumstances will we be liable to replace your iPhone 7, or later released iPhone, or for the cost of having Apple fix or replace your phone. All repairs to iPhone 7 and later released iPhones are undertaken at the owner’s sole risk.

if a device is damaged to an extent that it cannot be tested prior to its repair, we cannot be held liable, under any circumstances, for any faults that become apparent after the repair, except faults or malfunctions of the replacement part(s), and they will not be covered under our lifetime warranty.

with LCD based screen replacement repairs, if the new screen or LCD malfunctions, or does not work as intended or designed, including the digitizer not responding to touch, the LCD developing any white, black, yellow, red, blue, green or dead spots, vertical or horizontal lines, discolouration, greying, or shadowing etc, we will replace the screen.

with OLED based screen replacements, it is highly unlikely the OLED display part of your new screen will ever develop a fault or malfunction. Generally, the only reason they break or fail is due to rough handling, such as drops or being placed too hard on tables etc – without the top glass layer breaking! The OLED part of the screen is very thin and fragile. Due to this, if you break or damage the OLED part on your new screen it will not be covered under this lifetime warranty under any circumstances.

Once one replacement screen has been replaced this guarantee will terminate immediately. No further screens will be replaced under this guarantee under any circumstances.

If any relevant device is irreparably damaged as a direct result of a repair attempted by us and payment has been rendered by you, you are entitled to a fully functional refurbished device of equal or greater value of the damaged device based on its model and condition as received and with the original repair issue resolved, or the monetary equivalent of fair market value of the device in that condition as determined by us.
